BQ has made automating an application much easier for it’s users. All that needs to be done is record the steps, make a few changes (if needed) and relax. Your job is done!!

Prerequisites #

  • Please make sure the Application created is Web. 
  • User should be on the “Test Steps” tab of the Test creation screen.
  • User should be on the “Test Steps” tab of the Test creation screen.

Instructions to start BQ Genie for Web #

  1. Click on the Record button.
  2. Enter the meta data for the Recorder pop up.
    • Port number (If the BQ client is not running on the default port 9999)
    • Application type (Web)
    • Enter the URL that you wish to record.
  3. Click on Go button. BQ Genie and a mirror screen will be launched.
  4. Perform actions on the web page and appropriate steps will be recorded.
  5. Save the steps recorded and the test case.
